#2733: The Lack of Sound
This Comic's Cast:
Space has no sound. There's no atmosphere, so there's nothing for the sound waves to vibrate through (or however sound actually travels -- I'm an artist, not a scientist). As such, there shouldn't be a sizzling sound as the lightning orb travels through space.
On the flip-side, the lightning orb is small (for a reason) so I had to try and draw attention to it. The best and easiest way is to give it a sound effect. So, in this one instance, I went for artist merit over scientific fact.

Maybe magic can break the rules and have sound in space. The sounds you hear from magic are actually just being psychically projected into everyone's minds and they only think they are hearing them auditorily.

That could do, but I also like the notation. Makes the comic more amusing. ;)

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
