#740: Back Through the Desert
That sand pattern looks endless.
In real life deserts are tricky, since it's hard to keep your bearings, and your mind (and the heat) will play tricks on you. Not nearly as hard in a game, though, since you always know which way North lies (that would be up on your controller).
I seem to recall Secret of Evermore had a desert you had to navigate, but it really amounted to running upwards and chilling out in Oases while sand storms moved past. Not quite as harrowing as real life.
