If Damaris was just going to hang out at every critical point in Link's journey, why didn't she travel with him. It seems like she spends a lot of time just waiting around for him to show up, so taking the time to travel along would seem more intelligent (and less boring, in the long run).
The whole reason why I pout all these nice locales in Hell was because I envisioned Hell becoming this dumping ground for every old afterlife that no longer is believed in anymore. Hades (precursor to Hell) had the good and the bad all stored in the same "underground" areas. If Hell grew out of Hades, the good would have gone along with the bad.
Just a thought, there.
