#3000, Part 4: Quite a Shock

Well, he did predict this exact scenario would happen. So it shouldn't be any kind of a shock that Gertie went down all of a sudden, which, really, is exactly his point.
As we can see here, the various "lead" characters are starting to cross into each other's screens, which allows us to see the same scene from a couple of different sides. That's another one of the quirks of this layout and, as this goes on, I hope to be able to play with it further for interesting effects.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
