#2458: Docking

This Comic's Storylines:

For such a simple comic I'm actually going to have a lot to say. For starters, I really hope that anchor plays are well for you as it does for me. I laugh every time at just the stupidity (the logical stupidity, mind you) of throwing an anchor to moor to a starbase. Wow.

Now, I was originally going to follow this with a shot of the heroes coming off the Siren via gangplank, but once you start trying to figure out the physics of a galleon with artificial gravity docking next to a starbase with rotational gravity, anything that might be drawn would look so weird, it would break all the art I have prepared for this series.

In short, that just wasn't happening. Instead we'll skip ahead since an establishing shot of the heroes coming off the ship isn't really necessary.

Man, the Siren really is a big god damn ship.

Yes, I did laugh when I saw the anchor.

... makes sense...

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
