Okay, I just came back and read half a year's worth of comic in one sitting. The site theme change didn't register much, since a lot of my favourite webcomics have been doing that lately, and I quite like the deep space type background. The art change... I really, really liked the sprites, this was the only sprite comic I liked reading. But artists are allowed to change their art style at will. Your sister did, over at DMFA, not tooooo long ago, and while it took my brain some time to adjust, I now like it, because I like the comic and the characters and plotlines and all that. Now it's just part of that comic. I'm sure my brain will eventually adjust to CVRPG's new style too, it'll just take a little while. Though I am now wondering why Katrina has so short-trimmed hair. It may just be the size of the characters making it hard to tell, but it looks like shorter than an inch to me (I usually cut my hair that short like 2-3 times a year, and then let it grow out). tl;dr I'm ambivalent about the new art, but will keep reading because I like the comic.

Katrina has always had fairly short hair. It may look somewhat shorter now, but that's at least partially because it looked good when I drew it -- I have enough issues drawing hair that once I get something that looks reasonably good, I tend to stick with it. And hey, the comic is still at least "sprite-based" even if they are hand-drawn vector sprites. Personally, I still feel like it works for that "video game" feel I was going for.
