#2118: Some Kind of Reason
I wonder if sunglasses really would work. Can tinted panes of glass really prevent a gorgon's gaze from functioning? This is something Greek myths failed to answer. Although, I could see it being a detail worked into some kind of young-adult fiction.

I'm gonna go with "yes". If a Gorgon's gaze doesn't function when bounced off a mirror, then it would stand to reason that anything affecting light in between the two pairs of eyes would have the same effect.
