#1162: That New Armor Smell

Oh Dracula. Even as a kitty cat you still creepily leer at Alec. Good times.

It's interestig -- I went back and looked up the Brides of Dracula (the characters, not the Hammer film) just to see how they were brought about (Dracula is gay, and I wanted to see if there was any wiggle room there so I wasn't totally violating the original novel's continuity). As it turns out, the "brides" are never named as such in the book -- they're just referred to as the vampire "sisters".

Now, I'm not going to go so far as try and pass them off as Dracula's sisters (if anything, it's more likely that they're his daughters, and whatever their relation to Dracula, it's also implied that he was boning them at one point, so it's still creepy and incestuous). What I am saying is that, if they are his kin in some capacity, in my comic Dracula wouldn't have sex with them -- that's just not his bag. He can be gay and have three "brides" because he's not looking to have sex with them anyway.

Call them what you will, for the sake of this series I found the wiggle room I needed.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
