#729: No Trouble Really

Well, I did say that when it comes to dealing with vampires (and the undead), Darkmoon is the guy to talk to. This battle here just plays to his strengths.
I realize that Darkmoon is undead, and giving him powers over fire when he's also weak against fire is a little weird. The blame really lies in the Castlevania series, though, since Dracula (and Alucard) has power over fire, and since Darkmoon comes from the same lineage he has the same powers.
If this comic wasn't tied into the Castlevanie series, I probably would have given Darkmoon ice powers instead. It makes more sense from an undead perspective.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
