When I designed these comics, I did it on couple of different monitors. One showed the comic as super dark while the other made it look like it was just dusky in the ship. I've kept it at a slightly brighter lightness just in case others view this comic on a darker screen. I don't want the comic to be so dark that you can't see anything but the words. If it seems too bright, we'll just blame it on really good emergency lighting.
Also, apparently their walkies work even when other ship systems are down. I assume they're battery-powered and also short wave. That's a good explanation.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
