I've been pretty clear, in the past, that when Angel explains something about the multiverse he's doing it so our sad, three dimensional beings can understand what he's saying. Most of the time his explanations are utter bullshit that just kind of vaguely resemble the truth. Hey, it's not his fault we aren't all pan-dimensional beings.
