Considering how dumb Darkmoon can be about some stuff, it's amazing how quickly he picks up on this. I mean, an outside observer would have a hard time telling our Katrina and another Katrina apart. And this is on top of the fact that the heroes didn't realize the Mirror versions were back in our universe at all.
On the flip side, you have to consider that Darkmoon is crap at a lot of things, but he's very good at very specific set of skills. Namely, he's a pretty good vampire hunter with a decent side gig fighting other magical evils. And the Mirror universe crew counts as "other magical evil".
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
