So yes, we're going to expand the crew somewhat. Don't worry, there won't be a ton of new characters to figure out. Most of these new crew members will be NPCs. Red shirts, if you will. There might be a few that evolve into starring roles over time (as already happened with both Claypool and Cynthia), but most of them are there for background to make the ship look full and that it's running properly. Window dressing, like on any good sci-fi show.
I recognize that Katrina and Claudette have left the frame, but their plotline is more or less complete. Cynthia, though, apparently has just a little more to do, so we'll commandeer Katrina's window for her last bits of business.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
