Originally I had expected the last issue/chapter of 2499 to end of strip #2900... but I think it's pretty obvious we're not getting the big climactic battle any time soon. That's the peril of writing the way I do, plus webcomics just have a way of taking forever to finish their stories -- the way of the medium.
I was planning to do something special for the 100 comics leading up to #3000 (as a sort of Super Special 3000, despite saying I probably wouldn't do those any more), but now I'll just postpone that to #3000 itself. It'll all work out.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
