Claypool hasn't had to spend much time on the ship yet. Any, in fact, if he's a different soldier from the one we saw earlier (who admittedly could have been a palette swap of the soldier, just another nameless NPC until he was finally given a name). I'm sure he'll learn soon just how safe it is.
