With some of the women I've met, namely all of them for the past few years that have claimed to be interested in me, I can understand Bucky's stance on commitment perfectly. Hell, I can't even say that I necessarily disagree, even if I don't totally agree with his actions here (killing her was premature, he doesn't know if she's enough of a threat to the world to justify killing her yet), with him preferring to avoid a relationship.
