I got a little flack for this development because people just couldn't see Samus and Richter hooking up. They're all been commenting that Richter is an awful pig, Samus included, so why would she get into a romantic relationship?
That ignores the fact that Samus is a strong woman who would probably be drawn to powerful warriors. Chemistry is chemistry folks.
Also, who said anything about romance? Samus was turned on, Richter got her going, and the need struck. Mama got hers, is what I'm saying.
