The question is raised, though: how does this stop the Elder God? Well, it does and it doesn't. Obviously, without his believer, the Elder God doesn't have an entrance into the world right now. He needs someone to believe in him (knowing a god exists and believing in the power of the god are two different things). Without Other-Alec (who didn't finish his spell), the Elder God will have to bide his time... for now.
Does that mean the Elder God will return? Well, yes, I believe that was implied.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
