This Comic's Storylines:
Darkmoon and Bucky basically perform an X-Strike (from Chrono Trigger). Just, you know, the CVRPG version of it.
It is a fair point: the rip in the fabric of reality has already happened. How could Darkmoon and Bucky make it much worse?

There's more than one Elder God, right? wouldn't a bigger hole let a second one wriggle through to make things even worse for them?

Theoretically, sure. For the sake of the comic, though, I tend to only focus on one of the gods (called simply the Elder God).
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
