#853: Deep Thoughts
This Comic's Storylines:
"Why don't the characters do this instead of this?"
"Did they really need to go this way when obviously that way made more sense?"
Admittedly, a many of these occasions, it only makes sense after the characters are already mostly complete with their quest, and then they realize they could have don it such-and-such way and have it be much faster.
Of course, for this comic, the simple answer is that, yes, I could have just written it so there was never an issue, and yes, the God character could easily fix the problem. But, in character, the God would never interfere that explicitly, while in the context of the author I have to have the characters work it out because it's their comic.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
