#836: Such Power

This Comic's Storylines:

In a way I consider the Elder God a lot like the "Weapon" creatures from the various Final Fantasy games -- end-game bosses that are near-impossible to defeat (and are only included for bragging rights). You go into battles with them expecting to die, over and over, just because that's how they were designed.
Of course, in CVRPG, death isn't like it is in the Final Fantasy series. You can't just restart the game from your last save when you die here. Death is permanent.
Well, unless you get sent to Hell and escape. Or have to ability to come back as a sentient zombie or ghost. Or are Dracula.
Damn it, my point still stands.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
