I think we all had to know it was really just a ruse. The Devil is such a liar. Not that I'm complaining -- at least the Devil is consistent in his actions and motivations.
In case anyone was wondering, the mud pit literally does scream. This is Hell, after all.

While I'm sure someone could be found to draw two angels having a mud wrestling match... the screaming hell pit would be harder to draw. I shudder to think how that would go.

Lesson, hero or monsters guys love the fact that its hot when two strong beautifull women fight with each other...specially in mud pit.
