Blame Super Smash Bros. Brawl. They setup that Zelda can quick change with her up-attack, and so I used that for Princess as well. It's the magical princess power.
And I can see her reasoning for taking on Raye one-on-one. Angel is needed on the field, and Princess can probably handle a single vampire. Princess is the toughest warrior on the team, after all.
