Ahhh, the big desert from Secret of Evermore. This is one of those areas that can trick a player up a few times until they figure out where the oases are. Remember kids, when you're trapped in a giant desert, just head north. I'm sure that's a valuable lesson to learn. Video games can teach us so much.
Honestly, though, this is my least favorite section of the game. The ancient Greece/Egypt section was rather boring. I much prefer playing in the Middle Ages areas. The two castles and the flying machine...
