#147: Holy Warrior Upgrades

I think this whole section of Alec's character was new. I can't remember specifically plotting out to make Alec a paladin with Mabby, and I know the later developments were all new.
In D&D, a paladin at level 5 (at least in 2nd edition) has to go on a quest to find his War Steed. It's supposed to be this big deal, and no matter what, they have to drop whateevr they're doing to do it. Big to-do. So it seemed only fitting to make Alec do it as well.
Why is it that all Village Elders are ass hats? Politics, I guess.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
