#25: Down to Earth

This Comic's Cast:

It's hard writing a character based upon yourself. I know, when I'm writing the god character, I have issues making sure he remains a character and doesn't turn into some mad "Mary Sue". A lot of comics that feature a "creator" character tend to overuse that character, as well as making them into some over-powered beast.
So, yes, writing a character that also happens to be the "creator" is difficult. You want them to be involved just enough to get the occasional good joke, but you don't want to be "one of those comics", so it's a delicate balance to maintain.
All of that to say I assume Damaris struggled with it as well when she had to write her character.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
