I have this whole backstory and setup for these aliens, and I started to write it... and then I realized it was just a big wall of text and we've already been here in this scene for way too long and it just didn't work. So I let Gertie edit us right past that and we're going to move on from here shortly.
In fact, my wife asked to see the whole backstory, so I wrote up as much as I could fit into a single comic. As you can see, it's just a wall of text with one character speaking. Not really dynamic at all, even for CVRPG, so it just wasn't a good fit for the "main" comic. Good as a bonus, though.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
