Sadly, if you've played the games set later in the timeline, specifically Portrait of Ruin, you'll know that Zombie Sypha really doesn't get a chance to seize the reins of power. But maybe, with the changes I've made to the timeline, she'll get her chance now. Who knows?
Meanwhile, Shaft probably should still be alive for a couple of the future games in the Castlevania series that ostensibly take place sometime after CVRPG (since I've been vague about when this period of the comic takes place). But, as well saw, Shaft is now in all time periods and all places. I'm sure continuity with the games is still secure...
