Carmilla, being a vampire, cannot be out in the sunlight. Raye gets the benefit of a soul, which, as we established, turned her into a daywalker, but Carmilla gets none of that benefit. Of course, while she did fight alongside these heroes, she did it for her own reasons. At her core she's still an evil vampire so we're not exactly rooting for her, right?
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
