The blending of sprites and vectors is really starting to pick up here, and we'll certainly see a lot of playing with that in this battle as the vector version of the comic comes smashing into the sprite side. I look at it as the current crop of indie games that use 16-bit graphics as a base but don't stay beholden to that art style. Same kind of idea.
