#3508: Change Without Change
This Comic's Cast:
So let's get into the background for this storyline for a second. When I dreamed up this how arc, Forward to the Past, my thought was to have Sprockets and Claypool get stuck in the past and then have to fight Blacula because... reasons. I didn't plan for a lot of what's happened, and I really didn't expect Shaft to become a major villain here, but that's kind of how these things work out. Sometimes my stories grow organically and I have to let them go where they go.
What that means, though, is that Shaft really wanted to steal the time shuttle and bebop around in the past for a but. I didn't know why at the time, but when I got to this comic he just sort of revealed his plan to me. Shit like that happens with characters and when it does, the writer just has to go with it.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
