#3152: The Great and Powerful
This Comic's Cast:
I wrote a script, years ago, in college, for a film about a vampire hunter. He went around, taking on vampire hunting cases (as one does in that line of work) and they all had pretty mundane names, like "Greg" and "Bert". I thought it was pretty funny, "the Vampire Bert." Then, years later, the Fright Night remake essentially made the same joke. Not mad about it, just think it's funny someone else came up with it too.
Ever since that script, though, I have a tendency to give characters (especially in video games I play) really basic names just so I can see a massive kill-bot named Bob running around. Always delights.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
