Magic. Gas. Nuclear power. Actually, that last one might not be such a good idea, although it's probably also the most realistic. The thought of traveling through space on an atomic bomb, one that could set off from a tiny meteorite smashing through the hull at several thousand kilometers per second, doesn't exactly sound like a great plan to me.
