#2701: Heroes for Hire

It's a valid thought, though. The three heroes (Alec, Darkmoon, and Katrina) started off on very different paths (student priest, hero for hire, student witch). They banded together to become heroes (of a sort), dabbled in vampire hunting, and then settled in Jova (Veros) and kind of became mayors of the town. Then Katrina opened a shop, Darkmoon opened a tavern... and then we jumped forward 800 years and nothing much seemed to change for most of them.
The one thing they've never been is out-and-out heroes.
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
