#2691: Evolution

So let's talk about shifting plot lines. Originally I was planning to introduce a revised version of the Siren in a later game (I might make note of it at that time once we get to it), and it would tie into a whole plot about it. But I introduced Sprockets earlier, in part to make sure we had a second recurring female in the cast.
Putting her in earlier works great for the cast, but I didn't have plans for two ships in the series, just the Siren, so the whole plot line of her ship getting destroyed and rebuilding itself on the Siren (as we see here) had to get moved up. Drastically.
Things like this happen. The nice thing about keeping my story plotting loose is that when something like this comes up I can just roll with it.
We'll explore the new Siren soon. Worry not.

The cast does still have to flee from whatever caused the shipwreck in the first place.
And we'll see what gender the reworked Siren presents as to Golem... later.

Would you still be the same person after having your arms chopped off and replaced with tentacles? Yes, but also no. Gertie's ship body changed... a lot. Maybe he thinks he's Gordie now?

@Darth Cariss: considering Golem's sex parts were made via 3D printer, I'm gonna guess no, gender doesnt really matter. XD

They actually do something heroic.
