#2455: A Cross-Section of the Siren

I will readily admit this is a full-tilt filler comic. I like to have all my numbers line up just right. Since I update five-times a week, every week needs to end on a five or a zero (as the last digit in the strip number). Additionally, I really wanted to try and get my page numbers for the "issues" and the comic numbers to kinda-sorta line up (a least enough so that they both ended on a five or a zero at the same time).

An additional wrinkle, though, was that if I were to run off issues, their page count would need to be some multiple of four (due to how pages are traditionally done in a book). Thus, this issue ended on page 44, and I had to do three filler comics to sync up a bit better.

Now the job isn't done -- at the end of the next "issue" I'll need to do a five-comic mini-arc. Get everything synced up better. But hey, getting closer.

This would have been so much easier if I would have just abandoned comic numbers when I started the new art style. Ahhh well.

Oh yeah, look at the ship. Isn't it pretty? I put a lot of work into it.

"Important meetings would be held here if they ever did anything important." That made me chuckle.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
