#2253: Something to Do
I really didn't want the girls to come across as vapid or dumb with this line. It's what occurred to me for Princess to say, and it just made sense -- it's her vacation and she's gonna do what she wants. There no danger to fight right this second, and there's nothing for her to do for the quest so... why not do something fun?
Sure, women and shopping is a cliche (and an overused one), but the character spoke to me and she said she wanted to go buy a new dress (she's been going now for a couple of days without a shower or a change of her dress). It's time to let her buy something new.
Plus, as I note on the comic, the boys did do a shopping montage first (back in CVRPG IV). It's only fair.

They actually do something heroic.
