And now we get back to the beginning so Alec can tell his side of the story. He has to, if for no other reason than to share his adventure to prove he hasn't gone evil.

I'm going to say not so much evil because of Darkmoon and Co. Just a lot more crazy and opportunistic.

No, I can see evil because of Darkmoon and Co.
What he really needs to prove is that whatever evil plans he allegedly started to make did include Princess as his wife. That's what will earn him forgiveness (and possibly some help implementing the alleged evil plans).
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
