And we get back around to the cause of all my problems: Alucard. Seriously, I wrote "vampires can't procreate" in an early comic (because it makes sense), and then someone pointed out "but Dracula has a son in the Castlevania series." I think Alucard was an interesting character (the first time or two he showed up at least), but he really screwed up the whole thought that "vampires are dead, and dead is dead."
I really don't know what Darkmoon's daywalker curse would do to the process. I guess if Katrina's curse wouldn't affect things, then Darkmoon's wouldn't either.
Hell, the fact that Katrina is pregnant at all shows that we're in a rare situation as it is.
