And off she goes! The middle panel where she gets scooped up and tossed is a little weak -- I should have used a different hand pose for it, but I think the motion conveyed looks pretty good. She goes flying, way out into space.
Although Neptune gives a good sense of how far she's flying (I guess), since it's one of the farthest planets in the solar system (and the farthest if you hate Pluto and also the very concept of feeling good because Pluto is awesome), I really should have gone with Saturn. Even Uranus wasn't discovered by the time this comic would have been taking place (even for Richter).
Only Samus would actually know about Neptune, the planet, and she's kind of busy right now.
