#1447: Dead, but Not Dead

This Comic's Storylines:

Samus would be referring to the events of Symphony of the Night which rook place four years after Richter's previous game, Rondo of Blood. Richter isn't the hero of Symphony, of course, since Dracula brain washed him and put him in charge of the first half of the castle.

This is not something, it should be noted, Richter is at all proud of.

The thing I love is that Symphony is actually a natural rising for Dracula (if you pay attention to the official timeline and Dracula's 100 year schedule). Symphony takes place in 1797 AD, and, if you go 100 years earlier, sure enough there's a game right there (well, okay, SLIGHTLY off at 1698, Simon's Quest, but maybe the leap year had something to do with it...). If Richter had paid any attention at all, he would have known Dracula was coming back 4 years (give or take) later.

But then, if Richter had paid attention he wouldn't be Richter.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
