#1221: The Returning Hero

Darkmoon is always practical when it comes to money. If they can bottle water and sell it around town, then obviously magic cave water should have an easy resale value.
So yeah, I telegraphed this little ending to the adventure a while ago. Darkmoon woke up pretty early from the does, and while, sure, he's a vampire and he may not have the standard reaction to the knock-out gas, it was still a nod saying "hey, don't worry too much about this."
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
