Toucan Sam, of course, is the mascot or Froot Loops (despite my remembering them spelled as "fruit" loops, they've apparently always been made with froot). He urged kids to "follow their nose" towards the smell of the frooty cereal.
For the record, Froot Loops are disgusting.
