Darkmoon, of course, was trying to get across chasms using the Pitfall Technique. Not for amateurs. Also, usually better done with crocodiles, not mermen.
Katrina's adventurer sheet was never completed. If it had been, she would have ended up with a walking staff and possibly a bow as well. These were ideas that were discussed, but never put into practice. I may go through and add them at some point just for her sheet in the Sprite Archive.
