Super Special Comic 700: Rewards
So here's the deal: originally the plan was to do various reality shows. This comic would have been a little dress-up montage a la What Not to Wear and Queer Eye. It would have been cute and fun (and tied in nicely enough with the plotline, since Link gets a new set of clothes), but even after stalling Mab didn't have the time to draw a long, detailed comic (and I can't blame her for that).
So, we skip right past it and just consider the Olrox and Zombie bit part of the comic celebration. It works as well as anything.
Link's new outfit is properly in line with Zelda continuity. Link usually starts off in green, and then gets blue and then red outfits (sometimes they're stronger armor, while other times they confer special abilities).
I like the red outfit (technically it's still in use in the main series even if Link has upgraded again in DSWC -- yes, he shows up even there).
When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...
These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
