See, this is the plotline I was talking about. I setup an Inquisition I would have worked with later, and Damaris would have had another plotline to stick around for. But then I did some other stuff with the Child of Fate (unrelated to this, although in original concept it was going to tie in), and Damaris had another adventure...
There was really no point to start this up. We could simply argue that Damaris touched off the eventual Catholic Church Inquisition, and leave it at that. It's as good an explanation as any, really.
