It's been so long since I read the archive, I can't even remember if I ever, explicitly said, Darkmoon could go out in sunlight. For me, it's just established in my head, and I'm so bad about remembering to explain things like that (especially in the beginning of the series, when I was trying to figure out how to even make a web comic).
