#300: There Already
This Comic's Cast:
The boy is from Secret of Mana. To explain, the boy travels in that game with a girl and a sprite (who is probably male). The girl serves as a love interest for the boy. Here, apparently, after saving the world (in the "Other Heroes" chapter, fyi), the girl and the sprite ran off together, and the boy is stuck traveling alone. Sad.
Of course, he seems like kind of a jerk.
And everyone hates Angel because he jinxed the adventure.
It's worth noting that we did, eventually, celebrate strip #300, a little late and entirely off topic. It's stashed over in the Supplementals archive, so go on over and enjoy it there when you get a chance.

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...
They actually do something heroic.
