Achievement Unlocked!

I'm not the biggest fan of the flow of this comic. It's a touched cramped -- not to the point that I feel like redoing it, but just enough that it bothers me a little.

I don't know why I made Shaft the biggest office-geek ever, but I like it for his character. Wizards are a bookish lot. It makes sense, in a way, for him to be all into the paperwork.

And yes, the return of Blacula. A few fans were clamoring for him, and I had to keep ignoring them, as I knew he was going to be the big baddy. Can't tip my hand too early, you know.

If you're wondering, yes, I did do a "celebration comic" for strip #200. The thing is, that comic wasn't really a "storyline" comic but was just some random funny thing I came up with. When I split the Supplemental comics out of the main archive (so long ago at this point) I move that strip over to that archive. Go read the Supplementals if you haven't already and enjoy the wack "Super Special Comic #200" goodness.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
