Sprockets

So my wife (current wife, not ex-wife) had an idea for a character: a cool space pirate that traveled the universe in her own ship, taking no shit. That character took on the name Sprockets, and was an awesome, no-nonsense captain. She sounded cool, so I threw her in the comic.

And then she just wouldn't go away. It amuses me when that happens. A one-off character I dream up takes a huge chunk of space up in my head and won't go away, permanently inserting themselves into the forward progress of the story. As it is now I have so many plans for Sprockets going forward that getting rid of her would fundamentally change the flow of the series. She's one of the crew now, and that's pretty awesome.

When evil spreads across the land, and darkness rises and the monsters roam. When the creatures of the night make beautiful music, and the things that go bump in the night go bump with greater enthusiasm. When the world is in peril and is in need of a hero...

These guys are, sadly, the best the world can hope for. These are the adventures of the heroes of CVRPG. They mean well, they try hard, and occasionally they do the impossible...

They actually do something heroic.
